Angelo Aglianó, an Italian Michelin-starred chef, who has been involved in the culinary industry for more than 20 years, was invited to be the head chef and relaunched the restaurant as SCENA DI ANGELO. 

A Sicilian by birth, chef Angelo grew up by the Mediterranean seaside, learning how to catch and prepare fish from his fisherman father. This childhood experience also shaped his culinary talent.
An alumnus of the prestigious école Lenôtre, Chef Angelo has worked with and been trained by multiple Michelin-star chefs, including world-famous three-star Michelin French chef, Joël Robuchon. After working his way to the top of Robuchon's kitchen by launching two-star Michelin restaurant L'Atelier in Hong Kong and in Taipei, Chef Angelo opened his own restaurants, first in Taipei and then in Hong Kong. In 2019, he took the reins of Tosca di Angelo at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, bringing Sicilian traditions to the beautiful and pristine setting of this pearl of a metropolis, and was awarded one Michelin star within a year.
